Why is it hard to get a job in the construction industry for civil engineers?
Even after completing civil engineering, many people are jobless and it has become hard to get a job in this particular field, and getting a degree is not enough in itself, in the beginning, many line up with papers but not with skills. (Reason for unemployment in Civil engineering) Skills? What kind of skills are we talking about? There are many skills for the different domains but when it comes to construction, technical skills are in demand, you can take the help of any job portal, and you will see all that is required there is technical skills. But why? India is a great supplier of engineers and churns 1.5 million engineers every year, but only 20% of them get the jobs. Why is it so, a company always looks for the best so where do they lack? As we know most of the engineering students are shifting to another stream. What makes them do this and why is it difficult to get a job as a civil engineer? Here are a few reasons which make it difficult to get a job:- 1) Low technical know
